I have a song I’m mixing now. But I notice on most professional commercial songs ( using an Frequency Analyzer), the higher frequencies are rolled of either cut. Now is this done in the mixing stage or the mastering stage ? Also more advice on mixing would be nice. Thanks in advance for your answers.
I understand that bands go into a studio and record songs for their album but I just don’t understand what mixing and mastering does to the sound or whatever it does. Just curious
